The Bull City Woodshop Shop
Donate Your Skills
Not everyone wants to teach woodworking and that’s totally fine. We’re always looking for people with all kinds of skills to support Bull City Woodshop in different ways.
If you're an electrician, a web designer, a business consultant, or someone who uses a specialized skill in your day job, you may be able to donate your services as an in-kind donation, which could be tax-deductible.*
On the other hand, if you just love fixing tools, organizing, painting, or being around sawdust without jumping into a youth class. We’ll gladly take your time as a volunteer. Whether you’re here once or come often, it all helps.
Some ways people help out:
- Sending emails or helping with outreach
- Social media, photography, or content creation
- Fundraising, grant writing, or business consulting
- Website updates or computer/tech support
- Tool repair and maintenance
- Painting murals or signage
- Electrical, HVAC, and general shop support
- Operations, admin, or just keeping things organized
- Marketing, storytelling, or community building
- Got a truck? Sometimes we just need a good haul!
If you’ve got skills, we’ve got ways to use them. Just reach out!
* In-kind professional services donated by individuals working in their professional capacity (like licensed trades or consulting services) may be considered tax-deductible. General volunteer time is not tax-deductible under IRS rules. If you're unsure, we recommend checking with a tax professional.
