Ever wanted to create your own sturdy workbench? Join us for this beginner-friendly workshop where you'll build a simple yet solid bench in just a few hours!

With just a few 2x4s, screws, and a 2’x4’ sheet of plywood, you'll walk away with a functional workbench perfect for your projects.

Due to the size of the project, partners are welcome to work on one project. 

In this hands-on class, you’ll construct your own sturdy, functional workbench from start to finish. This is the perfect project for beginners looking to learn core woodworking skills while walking away with a piece you’ll use for years to come.

With guidance from our instructors, you’ll learn how to measure, cut, assemble, and secure a workbench using essential shop tools and techniques. By the end of the class, you’ll have a solid understanding of basic construction methods and a completed bench to take home.

What You’ll Do

• Talk lumber and prep materials
• Learn proper tool use (miter saw, drill/driver, clamps, etc.)
• Assemble a strong, stable frame
• Attach and secure your benchtop
• Square, level, and reinforce your build

What You’ll Learn

• Core woodworking fundamentals
• Measuring and layout techniques
• Fastening and assembly methods
• How to build for strength and durability
• Confidence using shop tools safely

Duration: 4 hours 

This project is offered as a private group class, not an individual sign-up. Most sessions require 4 or more participants.

Each quantity purchased equals one seat in the class.

What to Bring:
Closed-toed shoes; avoid loose clothing and jewelry. All tools, materials, and safety gear are provided.

We can offer a full refund up to 7 days before the class. We can issue a transfer of registration if you cancel up to 7 days prior to the class. There are no refunds within the 7 day cutoff and no transfers of registration within the 7 day cutoff.
