Introduction to Pen Turning

This hands-on session introduces you to the fundamentals of operating a lathe while guiding you through each step of crafting your own custom wooden pen. You’ll shape, sand, assemble, and finish a piece that’s both functional and beautifully unique.

This project is great for first-timers and for anyone wanting a quick, satisfying woodworking experience. All tools, materials, and safety gear are included.

You’ll leave with a polished, handcrafted pen — and the skills to make more.

This project is offered as a private group class, not an individual sign-up. Most sessions require 4 or more participants.

• Ages: 14+ (under 18 with adult)

We can offer a full refund up to 7 days before the class. We can issue a transfer of registration if you cancel up to 7 days prior to the class. There are no refunds within the 7 day cutoff and no transfers of registration within the 7 day cutoff.
