You’ll practice on boards that support BCW’s student programming and then perfect your technique on a piece of poplar that you’ll take home. By the end, you’ll understand the fundamental workflow of milling lumber — a core woodworking skill that unlocks countless future projects.

- How to flatten, straighten, and square rough or warped boards
- Milling sequences for predictable, accurate results
- Best practices for preparing wood for future projects
What You’ll Take Home
A fully milled piece of poplar, jointed and planed flat, straight, and ready for your next project.
