Power Tools for Home Projects — Private Group Class
Feeling intimidated by power tools? Gather your group for a beginner-friendly class that builds confidence using common tools for home repairs and DIY projects.
You’ll receive instruction and hands-on practice with tools you might already own—or want to add to your home toolkit. We’ll cover what each tool does, how it works, and how to use it safely. Whether you rent or own your home, these skills can help you tackle projects around your space.

This class focuses on learning and practicing with the tools rather than completing a take-home project.
No experience or prerequisites are required. This is a standalone class. You can take it and Power Tools for Woodworking in either order—neither is a prerequisite for the other.

Booking Your Private Class
Bring your friends, family, coworkers, or club members for a hands-on class scheduled for your group.
Before purchasing, contact Brian at brian.sparrow@bullcitywoodshop.org to confirm your date, group size, pricing, and instructor availability.
Once the details are confirmed, a $50 non-refundable booking deposit reserves your date. This is a separate fee and does not apply toward the class cost. Your date is not reserved until the deposit is paid.
Each quantity purchased equals one participant’s seat in the class.
What to Bring
Wear closed-toe shoes, avoid jewelry, and wear clothing that won’t catch in moving tools. Everything else is provided.
Liability Waiver
All participants must complete the required liability waiver before entering the shop. The class cannot begin until all waivers are submitted.

Cancellation Policy
Class fees are eligible for a full refund or registration transfer if you cancel at least 7 days before your scheduled class. No refunds or transfers are available within 7 days of the class.
The $50 booking deposit is non-refundable.
