Salt and Pepper Shakers — Private Group Class
Create a beautiful, functional set of hardwood salt and pepper shakers in a hands-on woodworking class scheduled for your group!
You’ll learn how to shape hardwood on the lathe, refine your pieces with sanding tools, attach hardware, and apply a finish for durability and visual appeal. Each participant will take home a completed set to use or give as a handmade gift.

No experience is necessary. This class welcomes beginners and experienced makers alike.
Class Details

Duration: Approximately 4 hours

Ages: 14+; participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult

Price: $85 per person, including materials

All wood, hardware, materials, tools, and safety equipment are provided.
Booking Your Private Class
Gather your friends, family, coworkers, or club members for a woodworking experience scheduled for your group.
Before purchasing, contact Brian at brian.sparrow@bullcitywoodshop.org to confirm your date, group size, and instructor availability.
Once the details are confirmed, a $50 non-refundable booking deposit reserves your date. This is a separate fee and does not apply toward the class cost. Your date is not reserved until the deposit is paid.
Each quantity purchased equals one participant’s seat in the class.
What to Bring
Wear closed-toe shoes and avoid loose clothing or jewelry. Everything else is provided.
Liability Waiver
All participants must complete the required liability waiver before entering the shop. The class cannot begin until all waivers are submitted.

Cancellation Policy
Class fees are eligible for a full refund or registration transfer if you cancel at least 7 days before your scheduled class. No refunds or transfers are available within 7 days of the class.
The $50 booking deposit is non-refundable.
